Name a great rock and roll song that has a timeless guitar solo?

"Heartbreaker" by Led Zeppelin

"Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin

"Ball and Biscuit" by The White Stripes (it has several)

"Soul to Squeeze" by Red Hot Chili Peppers

"Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen

"All Day and All of the Night" by The Kinks

"Paradise City" by Guns N' Roses (even if Axl sucks)

"Symptom of the Universe" by Black Sabbath

"Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" by Jimi Hendrix Experience

[pretty much everything else by Jimi Hendrix ensues]

"White Room" by Cream

"Sunshine of Your Love" by Cream

"Money" by Pink Floyd

"Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin

"Killer Queen" by Queen

Seriously, there are way to many.

This is just the icing on the cake.|||Well, actually, guitar solos kind of fit into a very specific historical niche.

I really wouldn't say that any solo is particularly 'timeless' (most of them are undeniable products of their time), but if I had to pick one that was particularly revolutionary, or at least out of place during the time period it was created in, it'd have to be Prince's 'Let's Go Crazy'.|||Anything by Led Zeppelin but Stairway To Heaven and Achilles Last Stand probably are their two best
