Aside from music, what is the single most important element in a rock and roll stage show?

Ability to interact %26amp; relate to the audience.


I met a band before the concert once %26amp; they were very stuck up %26amp; rude as heck. This also showed in their stage performance. They were not showing any feelings of gratitude towards the crowd for supporting them.They refused to slap hands,sign autographs,did not allow photos of any kind,and were honestly so stuck on themselves it was a major turn off.


Needless to say,they did not last.Not even 2 years.


I will not list their name to prevent nasty comments from their fans.

3.) Lights/ Film/ Pyrotechnics/ Sound quality/ Evironment|||Actually... the music is the 3rd most important thing......





It is 1) SEX, 2) DRUGS, and 3) Rock n Roll after all.





*People around here need to lighten up.....|||Audience interaction. Even if its the cliche 'How the **** are you doing SYDNEEY!' it helps :) . Just little things like smiling at the crowd is lovely too :)|||to be able to talk to the Audience, and have personality on do a great show|||an audience|||Enthusiasm.|||Pyrotechnics!!! You've got to have someones hair catching on fire by the end of the night.|||Spandex. Lots of it.|||Sex. It's gotta be sexy.
