Why does the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have people who arent even considered rock in it?

Because, like Rolling Stone Magazine, it has become irrelevant.|||That whole thing is a joke. It's all in the title. They call it the Rock 'N Roll Hall Of Fame, but they honor artists who aren't rock and had nothing to do with the creation of it, and any real rock fan knows that fame isn't a factor when it comes to importance. Look how famous Bon Jovi is. What has he ever done for rock music? Then you look at The Animals, and most people under 30 have no idea who they are.





They should really start another one for rap so we don't have to see Thin Lizzy get bumped for Wu Tang Clan in the future.|||The problem is the name, it is the ROCK AND ROLL hall of fame. not the music hall of fame, not the hip hop hall of fame. the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME.|||A bit like this place, they cover Rock and Pop but unlike R%26amp;P it appears nobody who judges the Hall Of Fame actually has any musical knowledge or taste, maybe they should ask us?|||To piss off rock fans who are closed minded.|||Don't know.... but I guess because they like having more mainstream people.
