When MTV came out...Today's music is worth less to me than a bucket of rotting vomit..people actually call the likes of the Jonas Brothers and Justin ****** Face Beiber Music! IT IS NOTHING MORE THAN IRRITATING SQUEALING PLAYED OVER SYNTHESIZED RHYTHMS!! What ever happened to good bands like The Who and Zeppelin and The Stones where they actually played good music and had great live shows where the band members got drunk and had sex with women on stage and broke stuff and threw **** at the audience WHAT HAPPENED TO REAL MUSICAL TALENT. now all they do is find the best looking young ******* that the girls will be hot for and write **** lyrics for them to squeak into a mic.JUSTIN BEIBER CAN COME SUCK A FART OUT OF MY ASSHOWLE and the same goes for all the rest of today's so cald music I WANT QUEEN I WANT SABBATH I WANT AC/DC I WANT REAL BANDS WITH REAL TESTICLES!!!
Please excuse my rant but i just ge so pissed of when i think about how good music used to be and how ***** lame it is now!!!
i do not believe its lost its balls, i believe its is just going through another phase, music is alive and ever changing. i like classic rock, metal, and some new rock. Even the most hardcore bands have a slow ballad, but i know what you mean when all their freakn songs are just them bitchn. This kind of rock is just whats popular with them kids these days, it will change soon. When did rock and roll loose it's balls?
I blame Nirvana-esque Grunge, Ever since then everyone trying to emulate Kurt have just creates massive loads of self pity in their music. Even this singing to screaming back to singing thing you see nowadays was pioneered by him. All it does is give all these bands a huge identity crisis when it comes to them deciding if they are angry or sad.
I would late 90's but fully so by 2002. Not that it wasn't happening before then, but I think that is when it became the majority instead of the minority. I don't know whether to blame the industry or spineless artists or the consumer. I am desperate for something new to listen and I am sure there is music with talent and heart out there but where to look? When did rock and roll loose it's balls?
i would say right after the death of kurt cobain. nirvana was a front runner of the grunge movement, and when he died, a billion bands started whining about the girl who sleeps with everyone else but me, and creed, and sex and candy and crap. sorry if offended anyone, but i don't give a ***t.
I'd say about mid-90's after the grunge era. I think some of the grunge still had the balls but pop and nu-metal took over in the late 90's and things haven't been the same since.
when thrash metal came in 83 they just casturated them with their awesomeness
Turn off the radio. You're not going to find anything good on it from todays music. Search the underground
How about bands like Breaking Benjamin (I Will Not Bow, Breath), Eminem... um, that's about it. I understand what you're saying. Lotsa crying going on.
heavy metal inherited the balls and left all the rest.
After 2005
i know what you mean! these modern rock groups are nothing compared to the beatles.
i like arctic monkeys, but even there new stuff is :SSSS x
Listen to Motorhead and Megadeth. That'll set things right!
Late 80's
Are you Robert Christgau?
when *****y techno appeared.
1969.
Well the bands that started after this.
