Will Deep Purple/Rainbow ever be in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

Since Blackmore was the first to do "Neo classical riffing" and found Dio.|||They really should be but they are not included on the 2011 list of inductees. I am happy to see Alice Cooper finally made it. Rush should be inducted as well.

They performed some of the greatest keyboard riffs: Lazy and Child in Time. Riffs comparable to Light my Fire by the Doors or even Final Countdown by Europe. And their songs are better then the Who's so they should be in the hall

And Rainbow, I just can't understand why Rainbow isn't more renown. The Dio years are awesome, Stargazer is one of the best drum performance, like come on how can you even put a question mark beside that name. They made greater riffs then AC/DC so they should be in the hall too.|||I can't believe they're not already there. Deep Purple just ROCKED! I am a huge fan of drummer Ian Paice.

Deep Purple's versions of "Hush", "Kentucky Woman", and the Beatles' "Help" are outstanding covers, and their original material was always excellent. One of the bands I was in in the late 60s/early 70s did a neat version of the intro music from "2001 A Space Odyssey" that segued into a Deep Purple instrumental called "And The Address".

Great band!|||Deep Purple deserves it, Rainbow does not.
