The Doors exhibit|||its pretty cool.... if you like rock'n'roll it has a WHOLE bunch of stuff from amazing bands..like jimi hendrix's guitar... also it 's pretty big and they have lots of displays there from really good bands...it took me like 2-hours to look at everything|||umm do you actually need reasons?? its a great hall of fame and its really cool. i mean if you want to go... GO! its really special and really cool! its right on lake erie and i just luv the design of the building! its so unique! if you like music... you will have to go because i mean its the rock and roll hall of fame!!|||ok lakoona or w/e is full of crap, the rock hall is an amazing museum and hall of fame, the stuff there is endless, and cleveland rocks buddy|||Don't Listen To Lakona as he is from Pittsburgh and nothing he says should be taken seriously at all, any clevelander would understand|||As a Clevelander, I was there once and didn't enjoy it as much as others obviously did. I spent an hour and got through the whole thing, but considering the price paid, my fiance and I went through it again. The one thing I did like was the Beatles things. But again, others love it.
I did go to the Natural History Museum and the Botanical Gardens and absolutely loved them much more. I feel I got more out of those places - spent most of day each time.|||I only went once. (I live in Cleveland area) I grew up with late sixties and 70's music. At the time I went they devoted most of the museum to that time period.
I thought it was boring. But that is just me. It's really just a museum after all. But if you get into what costums they wore, looking at the original lyrics written on the back of a napkin, etc then enjoy.
I did enjoy learning about the history and unknow facts about a group or musician.|||If you want to motivate yourself to commit suicide.|||I'll give you several reasons not to. You have got to be kidding me, that place is a joke. Avoid the
Mistake on the Lake at all costs. It is the nation's 4th poorest city, even New Orleans is better. The river there (Cuyahoga) actually caught fire twice. I know in my buddy's final year in college (Kent) they were begging us to stay and help the city out (architect), he just laughed and saught employment elsewhere. Cleveland is a depressing place, only the people that live there love it bc they have never lived anywhere else. You can't take the hall of fame seriously - one word, Madonna. Save your money and go to Hawaii.
